This type of pipeline pig is used to detect deformation of elbows or submarine pipeline,defects.

Gauging Pig

This type of  pipeline  pig consists of  gauging discs, two supporting wheels, a cardan ring tab and an O-ring seal. Generally speaking , the gauging discs diameter is 90% or 95% of pipelines internal diameter. It is drawn through pipeline by a windlass or manpower. The deformation detector is used to detect deformation of elbows or submarine pipeline.
