This type of pipe pig is used to detect deformation of elbows or submarine pipeline.

This type of pipe pig is composed by discs, supporting wheels, a cardan ring tab and an O-ring seal. Generally, the gauging discs diameter is 90% or 95% of pipelines internal diameter. It is drawn through pipeline by a windlass or manpower.

The deformation detector is used to detect deformation of elbows or submarine pipeline.
