Plug Valve
Plug valve is the indispensable component which connects high-pressure manifold during working of well cementing and fracturing operations in oil field.It is also applied to control of similar high-pressure fluid.The product has the features:compact structure,easy maintenance,small torque,rapid opening and easy operation.It is the ideal valve of well cementing and fracturing manifolds at present.
1.Working principles and features:
The plug valve consists of valve body,hand wheel,plunger and other parts.
The outlet and inlet of valve use 1502 union to connect or as request of customers,the seal is attained by the combination of lining,plunger as well as the sealing inserted in encircle of lining.
The seal by the combination of lining and metallic plunger has the features:high accuracy of combination and reliable sealing.
Remarks:it is easy to open and close the valve under the pressure of 15000Psi.
2.Operating Instructions
Fill the clearance between the body and side segments with grease prior to use
Perform hydrostatic tests prior to use to make sure that no leakage occurs
Check if the valve position is in line with the mark and rotate the plug cap 90 degree to see if the plug valve can be operated freely
3.Maintenance
The regular and timely maintenance can prolong the service life of the plug vlave
Clean and grease the plug valve timely after it stops working
All seals shall be checked for damage at specified intervals and the damaged shall be replaced immediately
If the sealing between the plug and side segments fails,they shall be disassembled and checked timely.If the sealing surface is found to be defective,it shall be polished.
