UHMWPE FIBER is also called Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene(PE) Fiber, high strength high modulus PE fiber or high oriented PE fiber. The fiber is an excellent thermoplastic materials. Together with the carbon fiber and aramid fiber, it is titled as one of the three major high-tech fiber in the world.
UHMWPE FIBER possesses such characteristics as high molecular weight, high degree of orientation and high crystallization. And its tenacity is 15 times over steel and 10 times over normal chemical fiber. COVERED YARN
UHMWPE Fiber covered with other fibers can be used to produce anti-cut gloves and other fabrics. There are different anti-cut levels of UHMWPE covered yarn: anti-cut levels 3, anti-cut level 4 and anti-cut level 5 which are meet the standard of EN338 of European standard for the industrial protective gloves.
UNIDIRECTIONAL FABRIC
The UHMWPE Fabric is made from UHMWPE fiber and resin. The fabric is used to produce bullet clothes, bulletproof helmets, explosion-proof products, protective armor plates and other impact-resistant composite materials. The product is tested by Military of Public Security and Test Center of Bulletproof Equipment of China Ordnance Industry which is conforming to GA-141-2012 standard of Police Bulletproof clothes of Military of Public Security.
PLAIN WOVEN FABRIC
The UHMWPE Woven Fabric is made from UHMWPE fiber by special technology. The fabric can be used to produce many kinds of anti-cut materials (anti-cut gloves, clothes and bags), tear and abrasion resistant materials (sports & protective clothes & helmets, bullet-proof helmets, bullet-proof PE plates and industrial fabrics, etc.), structural reinforcement material and other reinforced composite materials.
