It is mainly used in a variety of power distribution transformers with usual frequency from 50Hz to 10 KHz; Working in high power switch inductor, amorphous core is able to work under frequency even 50 KHz.

Catech’s amorphous distribution transformer core adopts American G.E. manufacturing techniques.

Amorphous Material Characteristics

Easier to be magnetized, is widely used in transformers, the no-load loss is substantially low.

Raw materials, 5.6", 6.7", 8.4" strip width available.

Among other metal alloy, amorphous has the highest saturate induction density and high permeability, low coercivity, low loss and low exciting current but with good temperature and aging stability.
