This "Switch Box 4" is a dual unit, can be used up to 2 ballasts to flip swicthing lamps A&B and lamps C&D

The Switch Box  4 can be used for:

1) 1 ballast to run 2 lamps A & B, 1 on and 1 off at a time, controlled by built in timer.

2) 2 individual ballasts to run 4 lamps A & B and C & D, 2 on and 2 off at a time, controlled by built in timer.

The ALL NEW Switch Box is a light switching device that allows an individual ballast to run two separate lights - one at a time - by switching back and forth between each light, at a user-specified interval. The Switch Box works with magnetic ballasts and digital ballast(refer to extra steps for using with digital ballasts). Simply plug the Swicth Box into your ballast socket where your lamp normally will plug into, and you can plug 2 lamps into the Switch Box . A built in timer controls the 'switch'.

We make our Switch Box 4 in dual modules so you get extended usage for 4 lamps, can run up to 10 amps for each ballast.Switch Box has many possibilities and saves lots of money, when compared to buying new ballasts.

Switch Box can be used for 3 different purposes:

1) Allows you to double production by completing 2 12-hour cycles in each 24-hour day. This is achieved by running 2 lights from each ballast, in two separate Grow tents, for 12 hours each. Each ballast runs a light in the first tent for 12 hours, and then switches over to the second tent for 12 hours, at a time controlled by built in timer.

2) Can be used to increase the lighting coverage over a single room by hanging 2 lights from each ballast, and then switching back and forth between 2 lights periodically, so that the grow room gets even coverage.

3) Can be used to save money by 1/2 the number of ballasts used. Since one ballast, with a Switch Box can run two lights, you only need to purchase one ballast for two lights.  With a Switch Box 4 can save 2 ballasts used for 4 lights.
