This flash point tester is designed to determine the flash point of petroleum products by Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Method.

Ⅰ. Introduction

GD-261A Automated Penksy-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point Tester is designed and produced as per the international standard ASTM D93 and the national standard GB/T261.

GD-261A automated Penksy-Martens closed cup flash point tester is used to determine the flash point of petroleum products by Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Method.

Ⅱ. Characteristics

The automated apparatus could be capable of performing the whole procedure, including control of the heating power, stirring of the test specimen, application of the ignition source, detection of the flash point, recording the flash point and printing the test datas.

(2) Flash point is under 104 °C, bias is 2 °C.

     Flash point is above 104 °C, bias is 6 °C.
