1. INTENDED USE

Quicking Chloramphenicol Test is a competitive immunoassay for the semi-quantitative detection of the presence of Chloramphenicol in milk.

2. PRINCIPLE OF THE ASSAY

Quicking Chloramphenicol Test is based on competitive lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The Chloramphenicol conjugate in the test zone will capture the immuno-gold, when there is very little dissociative Chloramphenicol in the sample. A visible red test band indicates a negative result when the control line shows that the card is valid. The test band will be not visible if Chloramphenicol is present in concentration of 0.3 ppb and above which explains a positive result. 

3.  TEST PROCEDURE

3.1 Raw milk pretreatment as per instructions.

3.2Take out the microwells strip from the plastic canister.

3.3Transfer milk into the well and mix well. 

3.4 Read the result after dripping three drops of mixture into the sample hole of rapid test cassette.

4. INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

Positive: Only one clear band in C zone.

Negative: The presence of both clear bands in C zone and T zone. 

Invalid: No colored band appears in C zone.Repeat the test.
