Sunforce's 12 amp solar panel charge controller is made for 12 volt solar panels that produce between 10 and 150 watts of power or less than 10 amps. 

 

Install the solar charge controller inbetween your solar panel and 12 volt battery for maintenance free overcharging protection. Solar Charge controllers sense when your battery is full and prevent the current from the solar panels getting to your battery. When your battery is less than full they allow full charging.

 

The 12 amp solar charge controller also acts as a reverse current preventor not allowing your solar panel to drain your battery at night. It also regulates the variable voltage that can come from solar panels. They are an absolute necessity when you plan on leaving your solar panels charging your batteries for long periods of time.
