Vibratory Plate Compactors - One way, reversible, and hydraulic reversible plate compactors. Powered by reliable Honda, Robin, KOHLER gas engines or heavy duty KAMA diesel engines. Vibrating plate compactors with top performance, easy handling, low maintenance, and long life. Available for online purchase with fast delivery.Plate Compactors are low amplitude and high frequency, designed to compact granular soils and asphalt. Gasoline or Diesel engines drive one or two eccentric weights at high speed to develop compaction force. The heavier the plate, the more compaction force it generates. The resulting vibrations cause forward motion also known as a One Way Plate Compactor. Reversible and Hydraulic Reversible Compactors have a reversible plate to allow forward and reverse motion. Unlike standard plates, the reversible forward travel may be stopped and the machine will maintain its force for "spot" compaction. Due to their weight and force, reversible plates are ideal for semi-cohesive soils.
