1) High-tech direct refrigeration block ice machine (adopt aluminum alloy plate to freeze ice directly, no brine tank, ice can be eaten)
2) Traditional brine refrigeration block ice machine (with brine pool, use industrial salt as a second refrigerant, ice can not be eaten)
Focusun brine system ice block machine is especially designed for tropical conditions and coastal climate. All parts contact with brine or water are pure stainless steel SUS304 or galvanized steel.
Processes of brine system block ice making machine:
Put the buckets with full water in the brine tank first, then through heat exchange, the water in the ice buckets freezes and turn into ice block type. The crane will hoist a row of buckets down into the ice thaw tank full of running warm water.Then the block ice surface thaws and gets separate from ice bucket. The blocks then slide smoothly through an aperture into the ice storage room.The freezing cycle of ice block maker takes about 7.5 hours, about 3 harvests in 24 hrs, but based on the daily capacity.Features of brine tank block ice making machine:
1. Ti pipe is used as evaporative coil to improve the heat transfer effect, and its stainlessness, anti-corrosion can guarantee the long service time.
2. The stainless PE parts between the brine and the fresh water is proper to mode and weld. And it works very well in a cold condition.
3. The particular design of ice thawing tank and ice dumping unit bring easier operation.
4. The thawing tank is heated by hot gas discharged from the compressor so that it is more energy saving and suitable for low water temperature area.
5. Modular shape, featuring of plug-and-play ready system especially for tropical & costal environment design.
6. Machine dimension is designed strictly according to international standard size for the container, which is convenient for transportation.

If customers don’t have an existing site to place the block ice plant, he or she can choose the ice block making machine to be installed in a 20ft or 40ft container, For brine system block ice maker:
1) The smallest capacity containerized we make ice 5ton/day which in a 20' container.
2) The biggest capacity containerized we make is 12.5ton/day which in a 40' container.
For containerized ice block machine, it is very easy for transportation and installation, if you don't have suitable place to put the machine, we then recommend you containerized type, because you don't need to re-build a room again.
