Application method and cautions for gunning material

1. Blow residual steel or other sundries away with oxygen, then spray.

2. The surface temperature of furnace lining has a great effect on the adhesion coefficient of gunning material. Lining temperature in 1000-1200 ° C, moisture content in 17% or lining temperature in 1300-1400 ° C, moisture content in 24%, we can have the best results.

3. Adjust the proper pressure of the gunning machine. First turn on the water gun valve with large quantity of water. Then turn on the gunning material valve. The gunning material should be taken out by water. At this moment, adjust the water quantity to be proper and then spray.

4. Spray the material from the bottom to the top.
