Feature:
1. The web guide controller is the heart of the electronic guiding system. Fife CE-compliant controllers provide you the control you need to operate effectively and efficiently. When combined with appropriate sensors, actuators, and guiding equipment, Fife controllers provide a highly accurate, Type I, proportional, closed-loop servo system with a high dynamic response to the running web.
2.The controller takes the sensor signal, which is proportional to the web position, processes and amplifies it, and then feeds it to a driver; the proportional output operates an electromechanical actuator. The actuator then positions the guide assembly to maintain the desired web lateral register. The correction rate is proportional to web deviation from the preset null (guide point) position at the sensor. System dead band is typically less that ± 0.005 mm (0.002 inch).
