5.Character: Colorless clear crystal or white crystalline powder. The relative density is 2.534 and melting point is 880°C. It easily soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. It will weathering in dry air and lose crystal water under 100°C. It easily absorbs water to deliquesce in air.
6.Uses: It is used as quality improver, regulator of PH value, chelate agent, emulsifier and binder in food industry. It also is used in the processing of meat and aquatic product.
7.Packing: It is packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
8.Storage & Transportation: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from water and moisture during transport. Unload with care as to avoid being damaged. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.Its expiry date is two years.
