Characteristics: Shenghua 6 is big-size grain peanut variety. Main stem height of 32.9 cm and 36.9 cm for branch length, 8 total branches, stems cloth dilute short hairs, no pigment; leaves oblong leaf color green; flowers paleyellow. 18 pods per plant, yield per plant 24.5 g; pod ordinary type, harder Nutshell, Seeds oblong, testa pink, endopleura orange. Growth period is 127 days for spring sowing. Shenghuan 6 is tolerant for nutrition and high density and suitable for the peanut production in northern of China. Branches and roots grow coordinating. Leaf falls late. Resist to leaf spot, rust, sufficient nutrition, barren, water logging, saline-alkali and continuous cropping. Particularly resists to lodging. None rotten pod during the harvest.

Cultivation technique: Tolerant for sufficient fertilizer land, hilly ground, slightly saline-alkali land. It is suitable for spring sowing with film mulching or summer sowing open cultivation. 9000 -10000pits per mu for spring sowing, 2 pellets per pits. Late-April to early-May is better for spring sowing. Apllies organic fertilizer and phosphatic fertilizer. Full-bloom stage to pod setting stage needs irrigation. During the growth stage needs disease and pest control, weeds control and draught control.

Suitable region: it is suitable planting at the main production region in northern of China. Better for thick loamy land.
