Completely secure BS EN124 and H-20 traffic rated fiberglass manhole cover and frame. Structurally, the fiberglass cover and frame exceeds EN 124 Class D400 standards and meets AASHTO H-20 requirements and can be used on both pre-cast concrete and fiberglass manholes. Unlike the heavy, bulky and awkward cast iron covers of the past, this manhole cover is lightweight, easy to handle and transport.

 

Injuries caused from lifting the heavy iron covers can be avoided and unlike the iron cover, this fiberglass cover offers little interference with radio frequency signals that are used with remote monitoring and remote data retrieval systems. In addition, cast iron manhole covers are being stolen and sold as scrap metal leaving manholes uncovered and potentially dangerous.
