Properties: pure product is light yellow crystal. Tasteless. Melting point 114-116oC , boiling point 216 , decomposition temperature 279oC , flash point 169oC , relative density 1.479 (20 / 4 ). Room temperature, slightly soluble in water (1.6%, 25 ), easily volatile with steam. Soluble in alcohol, chloroform and ether. Can be dissolved in lye. Able to sublimate.
Uses
Used as a pesticide, medicine, dye intermediates and other fine chemicals. Used in the manufacture of non-phenacetin, paracetamol, pesticides, 1605, reagent m tall, curing grass green GN, Sulfur Vat Black CL, Sulfur Vat Black CLB, Sulfur Vat Blue RNX, Sulfur Red Brown B3R. Leather is also used as a fungicide as well as the acid value indicator.
Packaging and Storage
Storage Note: stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Away from fire and heat sources. Packing seal. Should work with oxidants, reducing agents, bases, food and chemicals stored separately and avoid mixing reservoir. Use of explosion-proof lighting, ventilation facilities. Prohibit the use of easy to produce spark machinery and tools. Storage areas should be equipped with appropriate materials asylum leakage.
