Methyl Hexahydrophthalic Anhydride is a high-end product of epoxy anhydride type curing agent series. Its outstanding advantage is its cured epoxy’s good weatherability, overcoming the common disadvantages of thermosetting resin, including poor weather resistance and ultraviolet resistance. This feature is based on the saturation after the hydrogenation in the double bonds of benzene ring.

It is colorless transparent liquid. After adding the accelerator, it does not discolor, with good optical performance. Due to its good heat resistance, the heat distortion temperature of the cured Methyl Hexahydrophthalic Anhydride is about 20C, higher than that of methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride. With high reaction acitivity, Methyl Hexahydrophthalic Anhydride has the features of fast curing, short gel time etc. Its cured expoxy resin has excellent mechanical properties and electrical properties, so it is the upgraded and renewed product in electronic and electrical industry.
