Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) System for Utility Metering

 

Based on many years’ meter reading experiences, Shenitech has established a hierarchy utility management system architecture which is flexible, scalable, reliable and robust. This architecture has been fully implemented in our Data Center Manager software.

There are four layers in this software topology, top later is for DTU management, middle upper layer is for area management, middle lower layer is for building management, and bottom layer is for client management. A DTU region could have several Areas, an Area could have many buildings, and a building could have many clients.

The key componet in this hierarchy network is our 280C-1 MBus concentrator. This concentrator can connect as many as 250 MBus meters through a  simple two-wire bus. If the building backbone is BACnet bus, you may use our BACnet-Mbus converter to connect all MBus meters into the BACnet system.
