The pipe cutting and chamfering machine is used for cutting and chamfering of D.I. pipes.

1.General description

D.I. pipe cutting machine include: retaining pipe mechanism, centering mechanism, kicking structure, retaining pipe machine, drive supporting roller, driven supporting roller, drive rotating machine, driven rotating machine, grinding wheel blade pipe cutting device, grinding wheel chamfering device, pipe kicking machine, hydraulic system, electrical system, pneumatic system etc.

2. Pipe cutting group, all pipe cutting process:

(1)Start retaining step mechanism oil cylinder and make shifting fork rotate, release one pipe roll on V-shape    supporting roller of centering machine, and stop on supporting roller.

(2)Centering machine gas cylinder piston rod on two ends of pipes push the pipe onto proper position of production line. 

(3)The kicking rod is driven by oil cylinder and drives pipes after centering to roll on rotating guide wheel in cutting station. Install in advance the center position of two guide wheels on the proper position which is fit for this pipe diameter.

(4)The lifting of drive supporting roller and driven supporting roller supports the pipe.

(5)Oil cylinder of pipe retaining machine pushes blocking wheel, and makes pipe on supporting roller vertically move under grinding wheel blade, the blocking wheel is positioned based on cutting out length. The concrete length is defined by pipe quality and customer requirement.

(6)Drive supporting roller and driven supporting roller fall down and make pipe fall on rotating machine, drive rotating machine drives pipe in circumferential rotation, blocking wheel is positioned and retained, making the pipe for cutting can not move in axis direction, at the same time, blocking wheel rotate with pipe socket end side.

 (7)Start pipe cutting grinding wheel blade motor, grinding wheel blade rotate in high speed, at the same time, tumbler which supports the grinding wheel blade is pushed by oil cylinder and rapidly approach outer diameter of pipe for cutting, before contacting, rapidly speed down and get into the state of grinding wheel cutting pipe. It’s cut via oil cylinder slow speed feeding. Based on cutting situation, it can be adjusted at any time, and make speed reducer of pipe rotating get reasonable cutting parameter. The rotating direction of grinding wheel blade is in the same direction with pipe rotating linear speed, or in inverted direction is also OK. But for scrap and dust collection, it should be downwards, which is easy for collecting and cleaning, prevent dust splash everywhere and pollute the environment. The rotation direction of pipe for cutting can be changed via motor.

 (8)After pipe is cut, the cut part fall into the bucket wheel in the pit, at the same time, pipe cutting grinding wheel blade rapidly uplift and come into the original position. The pipe cutting is finished.

(9)Make chamfer: Pipe is still in rotation, make manual chamfering, to operate flexibly, inspect chamfer situation, to make it even and clean, to master chamfer diameter in the range of R3~R8.

(10)When chamfer is finished, blocking wheel of pipe retaining machine rapidly come back to original position. At the same time, rotating motor stops rotation, drive supporting roller and driven supporting roller uplift at the same time. The V-shape roller on drive supporting roller is driven by hydraulic motor and make pipe after cutting and chamfering move in axis direction, to come back into proper position of pipe cutting group center, V-shape supporting roller hydraulic motor stops rotating, drive supporting roller and driven supporting roller at the same time fall down to the lowest position. At this time, pipe kicking machine and kicking rod extract the pipe which stops on two guide wheels by hydraulic cylinder pushing, pipes leave this station and fall into next process station, at once they are extracted out from this station, pipe goes onto supporting rail, at the same time next circulation begins.
