CY-9 Oxygen detector uses completely integrated circuits which makes the meter simpler and handier. The equipment uses a 6F-22 rechargeable battery. It’s easy and convenient to use. CY-9 is suitable for the monitoring of oxygen-content in the mining industry, ship cabins, instruments of  chemical industry , exhausting of internal-combustion engine, flue gas, food supplies, fruit and vegetables storage, as well as the monitoring during the experiment of photosynthesis of crops and plants. In other words, it is suitable in all the environments where monitoring of oxygen-content is needed.

Applied range:

CY-9 oxygen detector adopts polarography diaphragm oxygen electrode, which contains  platinum cathode and silver positive pole, uses polypropylene film as infiltration segregated membrane, in this case, when the oxygen molecule  goes through the film and arrives at the negative pole, the electrode will have the following reaction under 630mV polarizing voltage:    Negative pole: O2+H2O+4e→40H—     Positive pole:Ag++C1-→AgC1↓+e The reaction will get an equilibrium in a very short time and will produce a polarizing diffusing current. The diffusing current is in proportion to the volume percentage of the oxygen. When the current is amplified and inputted into the monitoring circuit, it will show the oxygen content of the testing gas.
