Calibration procedures:

When installing a new battery or press “HOLD” button more than 6 seconds, T”-1-“ icon is on the LCD, the unit is under the calibration state. Operate the following steps.

Put the unit on the flat surface, short press “ABS” button, “-1-” icon is blinking 6 seconds“-2-“ is on the LCDRotate the protractor end for endShort press “ABS” button, “-2-“ icon blinking 6 secondsThe protractor is on the absolute measuring mode, the angle is on LCD, calibration is finished.

Note: after the calibration, it is in absolute measurement mode, the angle is relative to the horizontal level.

Absolute measurement mode

In the absolute measurement mode ( lcon “ABS” is on upper middle of LCD, put the unit on the surface, the angle will show on the LCD)

Relative measurement mode

Setting aero at any reference surface, get the relative angle offset to the previous aero setting surface as follows:

In absolute measurement mode ( lcon “ABS” is on upper middle of LCD), put the unit on the surface of 25 degreeShort press ON/OFF button, change to relative measurement. (“ABS” icon is not shown on LCD and 0.0 on the LCD)Put the unit on the surface offset to zero setting surface, the angle 35 degree is shown on the LCD.

Trouble shooting

1. Problem: no display or ambiguous

    Possible cause: low voltage or erratic installation of battery

    Solution: reinstall battery or replace new battery

2.Problem: erratic display

   Possible cause: internal error

   Solution: recalibrate it
