Overview:

DS5250 evaluation kit is a verified platform that evaluates DS5250 high speed micro-controllor It includes micro-controllor, 1MBytes SRAM, 2Mbytes flash memory, voltage regulator, 2 channels DB-9 serial port connector, 1 USB connector, switches and LED which is used to control and display the working condition of IC board. DS5250 becomes entirely function systems after connecting power supply, the cables of RS-232 or USB It is widely applied for card terminal , keypad password and so on

Function feature:

Memory : Program memory connects 2PCS  512KB SRAMs, enable signal is /CE1, /CE2; Data memory   connects 1MB flash memory, enable signal is /CE3NKeypad : 4x4 size,  P2  port  scans signal of rows and columnsTo access I/O: P0,P1,P2,P3 and P4 are all put out through spacing 0.254 standard single row pin header. Add LED nixie tube, U8 can easily display the datas of P0 port,if LCD module connects to P0 port, the LED nixie tube may not display expected result.Serial interface : 4 serial interface, “1” &”0” are internal serial interface for DS5250,  they communicate with outside through J3 and J2. A pair of MAX213E linear driver accepts expansion serial port “2”& “3” then add new serial debugging, not occupy internal serial port. Signal put out through J6 & J7USB :  USB interface easily achieves connection and data communication between PC and evaluation kit.Smart card interface :  all the signal connect to external square smart card slot through spacing 2.54mm single row pin header.SAM slot: evaluation kit offer standard SAM slot to users.LCD module:evaluation kit supports Optrex DMC16207 or standard parallel LCD port of similar products.
