KBZ9 series mine explosion proof feed switch (hereinafter referred to as feed switch) is suitable for underground coal mine contains explosive gas (methane) mixture, as main switch or branch switch in the power supply system, with the frequency of 50Hz, voltage of 1140V/660V and current of 200A to 400A. And also can be used as the large capacity motor for starting without frequently controlling. Meanwhile the signals from wind and electricity interlock control will be introduced.

2. Structure Overview:

2.1 The feed switch mainly consists of explosion-proof housing and the vacuum circuit breaker installed inside.

2.2 The explosion-proof housing is cylinder-shaped with protruding cover and base. And turn over frame is used between housing and cover. The upper part of housing is installed an explosion -proof junction box with entry device. which is used for entering or outgoing the cables; there is an operating handle offside the housing, which is used for manual closed and breaking circuit breaker, there is a reliable mechanical interlocking device between housing and operating handle to ensure the cover can be open only while the operating handle is placed at the breaking position by interlock device2.3 The vacuum circuit breaker is mainly composed of vacuum switch tubes, operating mechanism, protection plug-ins and other components, and the adjusting button of overload & short circuit is located in the protection plug-ins.
