One-drum three-roll strong magnetic dry separator is also called the limonite or manganese ore magnetic separator. It has two magnetic systems and can sort minerals of two grain sizes. One magnetic system comprises a large diameter (400mm) semi-magnetic drum and small diameter (100mm) full magnet to separate 0-8mm fine minerals aggregates. The other magnetic system comprises a small diameter (100mm) full magnet and a diameter 150mm full magnet to separate 8mm-16mm coarse minerals. As every grain size will pass two magnetic tracks, it improves the ore recovery greatly and increases ore grade after separation. Generally, it can improve the ore grade by 10%-30%.
