Jigger is generally made up of rubber diaphragm, rocker, water distributor, transmission device, connecting rod, storage hopper, jigging cell, rack, discharging stopcock. The beneficiation process of jigger is divided into two stages: sorting and separation. The stage of sorting is to layer the ore particles according to their density, which is affected by the properties of ores and operational rules, and is also the premise to the next stage of separation. The separation stage is a course of discharging, which is decided by the distribution of layers, the precision of test method for stack thickness, reasonableness of discharging pattern, control system, etc. Jigger is applicable to separate metallic ores in roughing and cleaning operation. Appropriate separation granularity for the machine is 0.1mm to 12mm.
