New multi-bar and double-duty warp knitting machine with thread presser has dual-purpose function of equipping and non-equipping thread presser. It can be altered to other function of multi-bar warp knitting machine with thread presser from the machine without thread presser through loading and unloading thread presser, adjusting ground bars let-off mechanism, reequipping bars and parts. The customers just buy one type of warp knitting machine to produce various style and patterns fabric which need be produced by two types of machine. When the machine is used without thread presser, the first and the second bars behind the ground bar has a function of formation, shogging before knitting to stitch the lace so that the pattern is more clear and the edge is nonladdering.
