Brief Introduction

This type amplifier/transmitter is mainly used for strain gauge type load cell with 1.0-3.0mV/V rated output

Connection and calibration

The 4-pin connector is used to connect load cell, and the 3-pin connector is for power supply and signal output. We’ll provide connector for the connection

 

The two potentiometers are used for zero and full scale adjustment respectively

 

Procedures of calibration

 

Step 1 ---- Connect the load cell to the amplifier through 4-pin connector, power the amplifier through 3-pin connector, and use a universal meter to measure the output signal (mA signal or V signal)

Step 2 ---- Add no weight on the load cell, adjust potentiometer “1” to get the output signal you want

Step 3 ---- Add full load on the load cell and adjust potentiometer “2” to get the output signal you need

Step 4 ---- Repeat step 2 and 3 to get better outcome

We can also also install a small amplifier inside the load cell,but this will depend on the dimensions of the load cell.
