YK7230 CNC Worm Wheel Gear Grinding Machine provides greater efficiency and accuracy with the latest structure, which can achieve the function of 5-axis simultaneous control in 11 axes. The machine adopts unique structure design, advanced transmission and driving technology, together with perfect automatic tool alignment technology, automatic loading technology and high speed grinding technology. So the entire machine tool performance can be lifted to a high level and grinding efficiency of the machine is improved greatly.

 

High efficiency grinding:  By using the multi-start grinding wheel with linear velocity up to 63 m/s and continuous shifting grinding, the machine can realize high speed grinding with large feeding of work-piece, and grinding efficiency of the machine can be increased greatly.

 

Fully automatic control:   Via multiple channel control platform supplied by SIEMENS 840D control system, the machine can realize flexibly control of 11 CNC axes, so fully automatic control of the whole processing, from auto clamping, auto tool alignment, auto grinding of work-piece to auto dressing of grinding wheel can be achieved. This machine can really realize unmanned operation.

 

Multiple grinding mode selection:  Selection of manual grinding, automatic grinding with manual clamping and fully automatic grinding cycles is available for use. The manual grinding cycle is suitable for grinding a single gear part, clamping and unclamping of work-piece gripper and stopping of grinding wheel feed can be realized by manual intervention. The automatic grinding cycle is suitable for grinding work-pieces in batch production.

 

High precision grinding:  With advanced direct drive technology and electronic gearbox software technology, the machine can realize high precision dressing of grinding wheel and high precision grinding of work-piece.

 

Profile and longitudinal modification:  Gears with profile modification can be ground with special diamond roll made to customers orders. And the grinding of gears with longitudinal modification can be performed with the synchronization of the axis of column radial feed and the axis of slide axial feed through CNC.

 

Automatic adjustment of cooling nozzle position:  The function can guarantee coolant entering into grinding zone exactly vary with diameter of grinding wheel, which is helpful to improve grinding surface quality of work-piece.

 

Auto loading system:  By using 2 sets of parallel manipulator, the machine can realize work=piece auto clamping, thus the labor intensity of operating the machine can be reduced and the set up time can be saved. ( The function is optional)

Auto tool alignment:  With the functions of work-piece gullet auto alignment and automatic stock division, operation of the machine can be simplified and working efficiency can be raised.

 

Structure:

 

1.      Same phase structure:  The machine adopts unique vertical structure design with grinding wheel dressing position and work-piece grinding position in the same phase, which eliminates the effect of grinding wheel spindle bearing race rotation accuracy on profile accuracy caused by grinding wheel dressing and grinding in the different phase in theory, and is helpful to improve grinding accuracy of the machine.

2.      New structure of grinding wheel spindle:  The grinding wheel spindle utilizes direct drive technology with high power spindle motor, inner / outer ring forced cooling structure, and an integrated dynamic balancing device, thus perfect thermal balance characteristics and rigidity of grinding wheel spindle can be achieved and high grinding quality of the machine can be guaranteed.

3.      Work-piece spindle structure:  The international advanced direct drive technology keeps the work-piece with zero clearance transmission, no friction and no wear, at the same time, the driving rigidity and dynamic response speed of work-piece spindle can be improved.

4.      Spindle sealing structure:  The grinding wheel spindle, work-piece spindle and dressing spindle are sealed by 2-stage filtered clean air, which can avoid abrasive particle, dust and oil mist into spindle bearing race to damage the spindle accuracy, this structure is helpful to prolong the service life of the machine.

5.      Automatic door:  The protective door is driven by cylinder, operator can control with switch when adjusting the machine. During automatic grinding, the protective door can be automatic controlled.

6.      Automatic protective cover:  The machine is equipped with automatic protective cover. When the protective door is open, the protective cover can automatically rotate to protect the high speed grinding wheel, thus injury to the operator can be avoided if performing manual loading operation.

7.      Agile fixture selection:  The standard interface and one-route pressure oil are equipped on work-piece spindle end of the machine. The customer can select the suitable fixture according to the requirement of work-piece form and processing accuracy. The standard configuration of the machine is one set of spring gripper fixture with inside diameter of 40 mm. All kinds of fixtures can be supplied for the use of customers.
