L27/38 series diesel engine is developed by the German MAN company inline four-stroke medium-speed marine diesel engine.

CSR-MANL27/38 series 5L, 6L, 7L, 8L, 9L total of five models, rated single-cylinder power of 320kW, which rated speed 800r/min of 6L, 7L, 8L, 9L machines for ship propulsion host , rated speed 750r/min and 720r/min the 5L, 6L, 7L, 8L, 9L machine for ship auxiliary engines, are to meet the IMO requirements on NOx emissions.
