The hammer crusher (hammer broken) crushes materials through the colliding between high speed rotary hammer and materials. It has the characteristics of simple structure, high reduction ratio and high production efficiency. It can conduct two forms crushing: wet and dry. The hammer crusher is mainly used for crushing all kinds of materials which have medium hardness, weak abradability and the compressive strength shouldn’t exceed 100MPa, the moisture content should less than 15%. The materials to be rushed by the hammer crusher are things like coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, tile and limestone, etc. It can also be used for crushing materials which have fiber structure, strong elasticity and toughness, such as small pieces of wood, paper, as well as crushing the wastes of asbestos cement for asbestos fiber recycling. Besides, the hammer crusher can not only be used in crushing production lines, sand making production lines, but also can act as a replacement of cone crusher in the mineral separation production lines. It is suitable for fine crushing of medium hard and brittle materials in the mine, cement, coal, metallurgy, building materials, highway and combustion chemical industries, etc. This hammer crusher can adjust to the clearance of the grate and the discharging granularity as the users’ request to satisfy different needs of different customers.

This machine is mainly composed of frame, rotor, screen, hammer and other such spare parts. The motor drives the rotor to rotate in high speed in the crushing cavity. The materials are put into the machine from the upper feeding hole and receive the effects of hitting, impacting, shearing, grinding from the high-speed hammer and finally been crushed. In the bottom of the rotor, there are equipped with a screen plate; if the size fraction of the materials been crushed is smaller than the screen size, they will be discharged from the screen plate; and the materials of coarse fraction will be obstructed on the screen plate, continuously been hit and grinded by the hammer until finally been discharged from the screen.
