Ensuring maximum life for your rubber track J'Track & PadsWhilst full attention to detail goes into the design and manufacture of our revolutionary J??Tracks & Pads, we advise you to follow some of the basic measures below to maximise the lifetime of your track.
Avoid premature wear or damage to your rubber track caused by working environments such as rocky terrain, gravel, concrete demolition, metal debris etc...The more careful the operator is when using rubber tracked or padded equipment the better the rubber track/pad wear and performanceExposure to contaminants such as salt or oil should be avoided and cleaned off immediately if rubber track/pad is exposedPrior to fitting you new rubber track check your drive system components. these may need replacingAlways try to maintain clean drive components thus avoiding damage from foreign substances or mudTry to minimise exposure to the sun, this helps to reduce the aging process. normal operating temperature range is between -25 to +55c. if necessary reduce speed under extreme temperaturesMonitor track tension on a regular basis. (rubber tracks)To avoid unnecessary wear of track/pads and drive components always: Alternate turning from one side to anotherDrive up or down a slope instead of traversingAvoid making spin or pivot turnsTravel with both tracks on a level surfaceAvoid striking concrete curbs or walls with the sides of the rubber track/padsWhen purchasing a ramp for to load your tracked equipment, or purchasing rubber tracks/pads for an existing ramp try and ensure the design allows for minimum damage to your rubber tracks/pads: Make sure the width (if applicable) allows for clip on pads.
