CMS--Sodium Carboxymethyl Starch used in paper-making industry as retaining moisture and fluidizing.
Acted as stabilizer after adding in the Paper manufacturing, CMS serves the function of bodying and tackifying, which make the paper luster brilliant, and improve its printing performance, and enhance the pliability and wearability of paper. As intra-slurry additive, CMS possesses the function of assisting stay and filtration and enhancing. CMS also used in paper’s top sizing, it can improve paper’s dry strength, wet strength, oil resistance, absorbency and water resistance obviously. In addition, it’s acted as bond which is produced the heat-variable chart.
