I. Summary

The mill is intended for manufacturing of round pipe of Φ25mm-Φ114mm with thickness of 1.2mm–3.0mm from cold-rolled and hot-rolled coil strip by means of unclosed tubular blank with its subsequent welding into tube, edge heating by means of solid state high-frequency welder, longitudinal seam welding in rolls of tube welding machine, cooling, further sizing or shaping and on-stream cutting of endless tube in measured lengths.

Finished product will be of round, square or rectangular pipe.

II. The technical flow of the production line

Spiral accumulator →→ Forming section(Flattening unit +Main driving unit +Forming unit +Guide unit +High frequency induction welding unit +squeeze roller) →→ De-burr frame →→ Cooling unit →→ Sizing unit and straightener →→ Flying saw under computer-control →→ Run-out table

Pipe Thickness:              1.2-3.0mm

2. Square pipe:                20X20-90X90mm

Rectangle Pipe:              15X25mm –60X120mm

Square Pipe Thickness:       1.2-2.0mm 

3. Pipe Length:                 6.0m-12.0m 

4. Length Tolerance:            0-6mm

b) SteelTape Specification

1. Material:        Galvanized Steel (Carbon steel) (δb≤500Mpa, δs≤235Mpa)

2. Steel Tape: Inner diameter:    Φ470-Φ510mm

Outer diameter:    Max.Φ1500mm

Strip steel width:    75-360mm

Strip steel thickness:   1.2-4.0mm

The maximum weight:  3.0 ton

c) Electricity

1. Dynamic power:  AC400V±10%, 3phases, 60Hz±1.0%

2. Control Power:  AC220V±10%, one phase, 50 Hz ±1.0%

d) Electric installed capacity:       appro. 450KW

e) Cooling water

 1. Reservoir for High Frequency equipment:  20 m³, one set

Annual output:  35000 ton, according to the yearly working days,daily working hours and the products.

  Eight people in total:  One for uncoiler, one for Strip-head Cutter and welder (spiral accumulator), one for Host control, one for flying saw, two for Run-out table. One is for the machine commissioning, one for electrical commissioning.
