The LTC-7PN or ER651625 Prismatic Cell has four PCB pins that protrude 4.6 mm. One pin is the positive terminal, the two three pins and the metal case are ground - the negative terminals.

This LTC-7PN or ER651625 Prismatic Cell is widely used for CMOS memory backup in personal computers, and for many other electronics applications such as MadgeTech data loggers, LST-5 series UHF radios, Corometrics Medical Model 145 Foetal Monitor (Fetal Monitor) and some SRM cycle power meters.

The size of this LTC-7PN or ER651625 Prismatic Cell is occasionally referred to as EF651625 or BL-7PN.

This LTC-7PN or ER651625 is a high-capacity prismatic-type Primary Lithium Battery with a  laser-sealed can. The LTC-7PN or ER651625 uses Lithium Thionyl Chloride chemistry for a high energy density and a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to + 85°C. Self discharge is low at less than 1% per annum at 20°C, giving an effective shelf life of 10 years.

Other terminations are available in quantities but it is easy to derive common terminations from the stocked four-pin LTC-7PN. If you need the two-pin LTC-7PN-S2 (as required in the SRM power meter for example), click here to find them ........ Alternatively, you can simply remove the two 'back legs' leaving a two pins - a bent positive pin and a bent negative pin. To derive the straight pin LTC-7PN-S4 just go one step further and straighten the two pins. The LTC-7PN is a robust battery and is well able to survive these modifications.
