1.Introduction:
Barite is a very important non-metallic mineral raw materials with a wide range of industrial uses.
The crystal of a big barite tube, crystal together sometimes can form the shape of the bifurcation or rose crystal piece, this is called the champions league hairy barite. Pure barite is colorless transparent, general were white, yellow, with vitreous burnish. Barite can be used as a white pigment (we commonly known as LiDeFen), also can be used in chemical industry, paper making, textile packing, in glass production in it can serve as a flux and increase of the brightness of glass. But it's the most important thing as aggravating agent used in drilling industry and refining barium.

4.Classfication:
1)Drilling mud weighting agent:
Fineness do the barite used in drilling mud to reach 325 or more, such as the fineness of barite precipitation is easy enough. Drilling mud barite requirements specific gravity greater than 4.2, BaSO4 has content of not less than 95%, less than 1% of soluble salts.
2) Lithopone pigments:
lithopone is a commonly used high-quality white pigment can be used as the raw materials of paint, painting pigments.
3)Various barium compounds:
barite barium oxide, barium carbonate, barium chloride, barium nitrate, precipitated barium sulfate, barium hydroxide and other chemical raw materials as raw materials can be made.
4)Others:
the reconciliation of the barite and oil applied to Burkina Faso on the manufacture of linoleum; barite powder to refined kerosene; gastrointestinal contrast agent in the pharmaceutical industry.
