Coated Phytase is a new generation of 6-phytase [EC3.1.3.26], derived from E. coli modified by Pichia pastoris, and produced by advanced bio-engineering technology and Thermo Protection Technology (TPT). With the Thermo Protection Technology (TPT), Suntaq manufactures a free-flowing, dust-free granulated phytase that maintains minimum 90% of activity after exposure to feed conditioning and pelleting temperatures of up to 95°C, allowing for ease of use in the vast majority of feed manufacturing processes. The coating delivers protection from the high temperatures that typically occur during the feed pelleting process, as well as rapid release of the enzyme activity in the animal’s gut without compromising animal performance.
SpecificationsAppearance: light yellow coated granularActivity: 5,000u/g; 10,000u/g; 50,000u/g (standard GB/T 18634-2009)Definition of unit 1 unit of Coated Phytase equals to the amount of enzyme, which liberates 1 μmol of inorganic phosphorus in 1 min. from 5.0mmol/L sodium phytase at 37°C and pH5.5.Function conditionpH 2.5-5.5; temperature favorable at 37°C.
Function principlesCoated Phytase catalyzes the hydrolysis of phytic acid -- an indigestible, organic form of phosphorus in grains -- and releases a form of inorganic phosphorus which is usable for animals.
Dosage recommendationFor different animal, we suggest the following dosages based on Coated Phytase 5,000u/g:
Animal | Dosage(g/MT) | DCP reduced by (%) |
Layer | 80-100 | 75-100 |
Broiler | 100 | 50-75 |
Swine | 100 | 50-75 |
Duck | 100 | 50-75 |
Package & storagePacked in 20kgs/bag or 25kgs/bag.Store in a cool and dry place; high temperature and direct sunlight should be avoided.
Expiration25°C, 12 months, activity remains 90%.
