Individual Ventilated Cage (IVC) is composed of three parts including main unit, ventilation cage rack and enclosed cage. The air enters each individual enclosed cage on the cage rack of air-guiding passage through the air supply and filtering system, providing uniform and low speed flowing clean air for SPF animals. The waste gas let off by the animal enters the ventilation system of the main machine through the air-returning duct of the cage rack, then to the outdoor environment through filtering,ensuring a low ammo-nia concentration and low humidity in the cage,reducing the cage frequency of under-laid material, effectively preventing cross infection of animals, guaranteeing the health and safety of the laboratory workers. It is suitable for SPF animal breeding, reproduction, conservation and various short-term animal experiments, especially for breeding animals of immunologic deficiency and transgenic animals.
The cage box can be available in PC material and PSU material.
Cage box consists of four sections, that is plastic box, plastic lid, steel wire net lid and water bottle.
