Operation
The product using 4 x AA batteries and it has adapter for car use
With Batteries
When using with batteries only the ionizer purifier function.
With Mains or Car Adapter
When using with either mains or car adapter the product can be used as a smokeless ashtray with both ozone and negative ions or as a separate ozone and ioniser air purifier.
To Start
Open the lid, the green light will show and negative ions are produced.
To Stop
Close the lid. The green light will go out. The negative ions is now off.
Note:-The Ozone (button O ) and Anion Negative Ions (button A) are de-activiated when using with batteries.
Details
Cleaning
1. To clean or empty cigarette ash remove the metal tray from the unit and wash in soapy water, dry thoroughly before replacing.
2. Wipe the unit with a damp cloth to remove marks. DO NOT use chemicals or detergents.
Removing/Replacing the Carbon Filter
In a heavy smoking environment the carbon filter should be replaced every month.
1. To remove - Open the lid and push the filter inwards with your finger from the outside of the lid.
2. To replace - Open the lid and push the new filter into position from the inside.
Caution
This is a high voltage electrical item and care should be taken when utilizing in the home on mains power. DO NOT allow children to play near the unit and keep away from water at all times.
