Fume hood

**.The design, manufacturing and performance testing of Fanmei Fume hoods conform to international standards and China industrial standard <Fume Hood>JB/T6412-1999.

**. Taking standard desktop fume hood for example, the deviation of face velocity measured at each point of sash opening is less than 15% with respect to the average face velocity.

**. Double-wall structure, fabricated with CNC extrusion molding from 1.2mm steel sheet coated with epoxy powder finish to ensure high corrosion resistance.

**. stainless Liner and baffle adopt white solid phenolic composite board. Only chemical resistant screws or fasteners are used and properly concealed to avoid exposure in fume atmosphere. The interchangeable interior access panels are located at both sides of the liners to provide easy access for repair and maintenance.

**.Laminated 5mm (±5%) safety double glass sash protects the operator, while providing excellent full vision. The outer frame of sash is molded from plastic material. The corner is joined by special plastic fastener to enhance the stability of the whole structure. The bottom arc style handle meets the ergonomic needs while allowing the air to flow successfully.

**. Single counterbalancing weight design, suspended by steel rope wires, makes position control effortless. Each wire can hold up to at least 150kg without fatigue. Our pulley assembly features slip-free retaining design for excellent stability and reliability. Plastic pulley integrated with ball bearing provides smooth operation and low noise.

**. Baffle mounting kits are fabricated from corrosion resistant PP molding, and composed of baffle supporter, baffle fixing knob and racket supporter. The baffle supports and fasteners can be easily disassembled and assembled from the front side for cleaning and maintenance purposes. The loading capability of each baffle mounting kit is at least 100kg. The amount of holes on the mounting kit for the racket supporters will be sufficient for stabilization, and the unused holes are covered with the chemical resistant PP plugs for esthetics.

**.The bell-shaped exhaust collar, designed with rectangular air entrance and round-shape air outlet through fluid dynamics analysis and testing, facilitates optimal fume collection/removal efficiency, low pressure loss and noise.

**. The fume hood dished worktop adopts ORNICES anti-acid alkali, corrosion resistant and fire resistant ceramic worktop.

**.  A plastic molded louvered grill inlet provides auxiliary air By-Pass to reduce air fluctuation as sash is being closed to minimize the vortex turbulence in the working area. The width of the By-Pass is 80% of the front board and can reach 90±10mm while the sash drop to the bottom.

**. Airfoil, located on the front edge of the worktop under the sash, provides smooth air passage and prevents turbulence or back flow near the work surface.

**. Stainless steel full-scale lampshade, designed with vented holes, located at the hood ceiling to provide maximum illumination in the hood working area. The lighting fixture is isolated from the hood interior to avoid direct contact with fumes by an atomized tempered glass panel with pressure release function.

**. Predrilled service holes, covered by plugs when not in use, reserved for remote control valve installation are provided on front control panels for function expandability. A predrilled cutout located in the upper front control panel is available for the airflow control monitor installation and lighting accessories.

**. 4 groups of multi-socket and lighting switches are located in easy operating position and with covers. The multi-socket in the side could be increased to 6 groups according to the demand.

**. Static pressure loss readings will not exceed 124Pa at 100fpm (0.5m/s) average face velocity while the sash is at its fully open position (Measured at the exhaust collar outlet).

**. The base cabinet, fabricated from cold roll steel extrusion molding, finished with epoxy powder coating, is equipped with adjustable leveler. Left cabinets with exhaust device are optional for chemical storage. Right cabinets are designed to contain water, electricity and gas accessories. The back service panels are removable.
