Applications

Atrazine is a selective triazine herbicide used in after-bud and PRO-bud , it's mainly used for the control of broadleaf and grassy weeds in corn, pineapple, sorghum and other crops. It is also used as a nonselective herbicide on non-cropped industrial lands and on fallow lands. Atrazine is the most widely used herbicide in conservation tillage systems, which are designed to prevent soil erosion.Its effect on yields has been estimated from 6% to 1%, with 3-4% being the conclusion of an extensive review.
