The Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Foam Insulation was manufactured based on multiple technologies of Material Science, Condensed Matter Physics and Surface/ Interface science with the Nano Particle of Alumina oxide. According to the production technology of highly concentrated suspension process, surface modification of nano-particles and Sol-Gel casting, the Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Foam Insulation, with ultra-light weight, excellent compressive and flexural strength and high temperature resistance, was developed.
With advantages of high application temperature, high compressive strength, low thermal conductivity and low linear shrinkage, and avoided the damage to environment and health that resulted from using aluminium silicate, polycrystal mullite, alumina or other kinds of ceramic fiber, Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Foam Insulation is a brand new refractory & insulation material to take place of ceramic fiber and firebricks.
