1. Hyaluronic Acid Functions

a. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a versatile naturally occurring molecule in our body. HA works within the body to do everything from providing lubrication for joints and vertebrates, to assisting in the wound healing process and with cellular migration, to providing moisture for our skin. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is an important component of healthy skin, about 50% of the structural HA in our body is contained in the skin matrix. 2. Indication

a. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is in use in medicine for a long time with a long safety profile. HA in his natural form has a short duration time in the tissue, because of the enzymatic degradation and free radical metabolization.

b. To avoid this effects, HA get in all dermal fillers modified through cross-linking to form a water-insoluble polymer hydrogel, more resistant toegradation,but with a similar biocompatibility as non- modified HA. The property of a specially designed cross-linked HA gel becoming less viscous under pressure (injecting force) and returning immediately to the original viscosity upon ending of the pressure (injecting force) .

c. Singclean developed a manufacturing process that allows to build-up this special types of cross-linked HA gels. This gel has a covalent binding of the molecules and leads to better duration and stability of the product in the tissue.
