Shell

The shell material is selected based on the specific application and operating environment to ensure that the shell has the best possible resistance to corrosion, pitting and erosion, and to ensure longest possible shell life under the designed operating condition. Depending on the operating condition, shell material can be either Phosphor Bronze or Stainless Steel. The size of the shell-diameter and wall thickness is calculated based on the stress and deflection analysis for the particular application. The shells are procured from the world's leading suppliers.Depending on the application, the shells are supplied as Plain or Rubber Covered, Shells also are supplied with special rubber cover material like polyurethane for critical applications involving blind Drilling and Grooving.
