Helmhiotz Coil

 

Using two same coils with equal radius and turns,arrange them to be coaxial and let their distance be equal to the radius of the coil,this called Helmholtz coil. It can be used to generate magnetic field from extremely weak magnetic to hundreds of Gauss.
