1.Leaking proof routel especially for vertical facade, skylight and canopy
During the construction process of point-fixed glass wall, especially for vertical facade, skylight and canopy, because the weight of glass was transfer to the cap of the routel after finishing assembly, causing a tiny space between cap and glass surface, as a result, seal lax and water seepage will happen, especially on curtain wall, skylight, canopy can cause leak at routel location from ponding. The traditional method is to inject sealant around the cap of routel, this not only increase cost and lengthen time limit for a project but also affect the appearance.
2.Our company develop professional Anti-seepage washer, by this way of slotting 1X1 groove into the washer and place an O-shaped φ1.2 rubber ring which cause a waterproof and leakproof structure together with glass surface when glass was planished by stress. For the flat cap routel, the anti-seepage washer are placed on the outside of the cap.For the countersunk cap routel, the anti-seepage washer are placed on the inside of the cap.
3.Furthermore we use double seal to anti-seepage, the first is a anti-seepage gasket on the inside of the cap, the second is a anti-seepage sealing ring between the glass nut and body thread. See specific picture as follow.
