3. 4. Wide technique range and good covering ability. The throwing power can increase by 30~60%, the current efficiency is up to 22~24%, non-corrosion at the low current area.

HV hardness increases by 10~30%, the period of neutral salt-spraying test increases 1~2 times.

Low  content  of  chromic  acid,  it  is  40%  of  routine  plating  solution,  lower  the  content  of  chromic  acid  in  waste  water, easy to be treated, high economic efficiency.

The technique is stable, easy to maintain. TECHNICAL FORMULATION & OPERATION CONDITION Chromic acid (CrO  3) Sulfuric acid (H  2SO  4) WR-1 Cr 3+ Temperature D  K Anode Sk : SA 140~180g/L 0.4~1g/L 1~2g/L < 4g/L 25~70?C 5~60A/dm 2 Lead-Tin alloy plate (Tin content 8~15%) 1:3 below USING METHOD

1.   Make-up of New plating solution:

 Prepare  the  plating  solution  according  to  routine  Chromium  plating  technique  process,  after  that,  add  WR-1  into  the  solution, heat to 40 ~50?C and agitate the solution to make it completely dissolve, then try plating, generally current-pass  treatment is unnecessary.

 If the plating tank is a little bigger, make it activated by electrolyzing for 1-2hours before trying plating, Pay attention to  the sulfuric acid(H  2SO 4) addition level, because some Chromic acid(CrO 3)contains higher SO4 2.   The conversion of the old plating solution: 2- content itself.  To old plating solution, sample it and analyse the SO42- content in old plating solution. According to the analyse result,  use BaCO3 to  make the redundant SO42-  deposit, adjust plating solution to routine level, If much deposit exists  in the  bath  for  not  to  be  filtered  too  long,  excess  BaCO3  must  be  added  to  make  bath  clean,  fully  agitate,  filter  or  rest  the  solution over 12 hours, then take out the clear solution from the top level, adjust CrO3 and H2SO4 to the routine, then  add WR-1 additive according to the above methods.

3.   The daily replenishment of WR-1 additive:

 Because WR-1 additive doesn't join electrodeposition process, the normal consumption is very few, mainly drag-out loss,  according to test and production experience 1000Kilolitre of bath, two-shifts work replenishing level: 0.2 ~ 0.3kg/month  more or less 4. If using WR-1 additive instead of Chromium plating additive from other supplier, first add measured BaCO3 and fully  agitate,  rest  the  solution  over  12  hours,  take  out  the  clear  solution  from  the  top  level,  adjust  H2SO4  and  CrO3 content , then add WR-1 of 1/2 ~1/3 of the make-up bath volume.
